Warning: Confusion Ahead!
Back when James and I started Man-Man, we thought it'd be a good idea to run the "regular" strip from Monday to Friday, with "special stuff" done by both of us on the weekends. Being Webcomic newbies, we had no idea how this would affect archive-reading. So, until the site gets a major overhaul, the stories get broken up by "special stuff" every five strips or so. There are one-panel gag strips by James, a failed experiment in serial storytelling called You Phat Bastard by Matt, "Man-Man Specials" by James (futher confusing the storylines -- keep an eye on the title bar at the top of the strip to sort them out) and God Is My Roommate, another badly-drawn strip by Matt.
We're going to sort all this out someday. Until then, please bear with us.
